Readmission Process

Below is the process to apply for readmission to UC Davis. You must have Adobe Reader 7.0 or higher installed on your computer to view the forms. Click here to download your copy of Adobe Reader.

Readmission

Readmission is for students who have previously attended UC Davis, did not receive a degree, and wish to return to campus.

If you have withdrawn or cancelled your registration at UC Davis or been dismissed from the university, you must file for readmission before you can resume your studies.

Students involved in the Planned Educational Leave Program (PELP) do not file for readmission unless you have extended your absence beyond your approved PELP leave time.

Readmission Deadlines

Fall. Last business day of July

Winter. Last business day of October

Spring. Last business day of January

Undergraduate Students

The Readmission Application is available at the Office of the University Registrar, in 12 Mrak Hall or you can download the application form here.

A $60.00 non-refundable fee is charged for each application and should be paid at the Cashier's Office, in 1200 Dutton Hall.

Return the application to the Office of the University Registrar, submit one copy of your official transcripts of any college or university work you have completed during your absence from UC Davis to your college Dean’s Office and an additional copy to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.
Your readmission application, if submitted prior to the appropriate deadline, will be forwarded to your Dean’s Office for review and decision. You will receive a decision email from the Dean’s Office.

If you receive an approval e-mail from your Dean’s Office please print the Readmission Checklist and complete all steps in order to achieve successful registration.

Graduate Students

Graduate students must go to Graduate Studies Office, 250 Mrak Hall or call (530) 752-0650 or complete the application form
here.

Return the application to the Graduate Studies along with official transcripts of any college or university work you have completed during your absence from UC Davis.
