Login, PAC, and System

Where do I get my Personal Access Code (PAC) from?

Your Personal Access Code (PAC) protects your privacy. A PAC is a six-digit code used in combination with the student ID number to provide each student with a unique and confidential password to registration services. Remember your PAC and keep it private! You will use the PAC you choose for future registration, fee payments, and other UC Davis online processes.

First time login:

  1. Enter your birthday in six digit format, i.e.… 020905 (MMDDYY).
  2. You will be prompted to create a new PAC.
  3. Create one and enter it twice, and then click Submit (you may not re-use your birth date).

If you forget your PAC, e-mail sisweb@ucdavis.edu or visit the Registrar's customer service counter. After ID verification, we will reset it for you.

PAC re-set. Once reset, you will need to perform steps 1, 2, and 3 to log on SISWeb.

Pop up box deletes my entry; After I login to the Student Information System, then enter my student ID and PAC in the pop up box, it deletes my entry and prompts me again. Why can't I log on?

The UCD login pop-up window is used to verify your UCD login ID and your Kerberos password, not your student ID and PAC. Your student ID and PAC are verified in the next screen.

If you do not remember your UCD login ID or Kerberos password, contact IT Express in Shields Library; 1st floor.

SISWeb Down? I have not been able to use SISWeb for the last two days. When I log in, SISWeb displays The system is down for scheduled maintenance and will return at 10 a.m. Sunday morning?

SISWeb has come back up on schedule after it's maintenance. The problem is in your browser configuration. Delete all temporary Internet files and set "Check for newer versions of stored pages" to "Every visit to the page". This will allow you to see live data as opposed to viewing a cached Web page (in this case the "Down for weekly system maintenance page".) Click here, for instructions on how to set check for newer versions of stored pages.

(PAC is wrong) I click logon to SISWeb and it asks for my student ID number and PAC first.

If you click logon and it takes you straight to the student ID number and PAC request box, then someone else's UC Davis login ID and Kerberos password is cached in the browser. You must empty the cookies and browser cache to remove the stored credentials. Click here for instructions.
