If You Have Problems

Room Assignments

To obtain a room assignment in on-campus student housing you must complete the Housing information requirements. This is done by visiting the Student Housing Online Housing Assignment Request via MyAdmissions or MyUCDavis site. Housing requires you to enter your 2 emergency contacts information and personal information into SISWeb.

There are three areas to update your information:

If you find that nothing is working right and you wish to start over, click here.

Emergency Contact Information

Click LOGIN to Student Information System on the Web at http://sisweb.ucdavis.edu/ .

Once logged in, click Personal Information, and then click Update Emergency Contacts.update emergency contacts

 

To enter a new emergency contact, click New Contact.Name Listing

 

To update an existing contact, select the contact name to update by clicking on the Name link.

In the update screen, edit the information and then click Submit Changes or to remove an emergency contact select Remove Contact:. remove contact window
Remember. You must exit the Student Housing web page and log back in for these updates to take effect.

Personal Information

Click LOGIN to Student Information System on the Web at http://sisweb.ucdavis.edu/ .

Once logged in, click Personal Information, and then click Update Address(es) and Phone(s)of the intended address type.

Remember your mobile phone (example: cell phone) entry is entered 2nd under the matching address type phone entry.

To add one of the three types of addresses (Mailing, Permanent, or Billing) select Type of Address to Insert and click the Submit.addresses and phones window

 

To update an existing address, click Current next to the address type you want to update.

When updating a Mailing/Current Address, in the Phone Type list, select the phone type that matches the address you are changing, in this case Mailing/Current .

Another common error is the Date mismatch error. If you get a Date mismatch error, you should set the Valid From This Date: to today's date, and the Until This Date should be left blank.

If You Have Problems

Finally, if you find that nothing is working right and you wish to start over, please follow the steps below.

Go into each address type Billing, Mailing, and Permanent one at a time. Scroll down until you are at the bottom of the address update boxes and locate the Delete this address check box.


Select the Delete this address and click Submit Changes at the bottom of the page. Repeat this process until no more addresses are displayed. Then enter the correct address information and click Submit Changes.
