Academic advising and program planning are strongly recommended for all students in the college. Comprehensive advising including college, university and program requirements are available in the Dean's office. Faculty and staff advisers are available in the departments and are the primary contacts for assistance with satisfaction of lower and upper division requirements, internships, graduate school and career opportunities. Peer Advisers are also available in the departments to assist with major and preparatory requirements.

Students who have not yet selected a major may receive academic advising from the Undeclared/Exploratory Program faculty, staff, and peer advisors located in the Dean's office. Students may receive general information on all majors in the college and assistance with course selection, registration, referrals, and education alternatives.
