All students in the college are encouraged to seek advice and assistance from staff and peer advisers on a regular basis, especially during their first quarters at Davis. Students should continue to consult with staff advisers during their career at Davis to assure completion of their degrees in a timely manner.

Students in the college should contact the Dean's office staff advisers for information on college and university requirements or at the first hint of academic difficulty.

For advising in your major, staff and peer advisers for undeclared-life sciences and declared majors in the college are available at the following locations:

Students who have selected a major may be assigned a faculty adviser by the staff adviser for that major, and are encouraged to contact faculty members for advice on topics such as choice of upper division elective courses, identification of research opportunities, and career planning.

Students who have not yet selected a major (Undeclared Life Sciences majors) may obtain advice from staff and peer advisers in the Dean's office, in 202 Life Sciences Addition.
