Bachelors Degree Requirements
You must satisfy four groups of requirements before you can become eligible
for candidacy for the bachelor’s degree; see Bachelor’s
Degree Requirements, below. The four groups are:
- University requirements, which apply to all colleges;
- General Education requirement, which applies to all colleges;
- College requirements; and
- Major requirements.
Every student is responsible for seeing that all of their degree requirements
are fulfilled.

All students must fulfill the following University of California

General Education Requirement
|
Students must complete three courses in the two areas of topical
breadth outside the assigned area of their major. Students also
must complete three writing experience courses and one social-cultural
diversity course.
