Payment Plan Part-Time StatusAny undergraduate student who wishes to be considered for part-time status must file a change of status petition, each quarter. Graduate students who wish to be considered for part-time status must file a change of status petition one time and the part time status will continue until cancellation or until the student enrolls full-time. Petitions for part time status must be filed with the Office of the University Registrar, along with supporting documentation, no later than the 10th day of instruction—Jan 15 . The Petition to Change Status form is available Part-time status provides students with opportunities to pursue bachelor's and some graduate degree programs on a part-time basis with a waiver of minimum progress requirements. Students are eligible for part-time status if they have been admitted to the university but are unable to study full time because of occupation, health problems, family responsibilities, or if they are a graduating senior (one quarter exemption only). Graduate students who have advanced to candidacy are not eligible for part-time status. Full-time and part-time students use the same facilities and are eligible for the same services, including the Student Health Center. Approved part-time students pay the same fees as full-time
students, but pay only one-half of the Educational Fee. Nonresident part-time students pay one-half the nonresident tuition. If you qualify for a refund as a part-time student,
